One trivial but annoying problems that often occur in everyday life is bad breath. Often the problem is still disturbing, even though you’ve been diligent brushing their teeth every day. One situation where you are having bad breath is saa waking. This will certainly make you distracted and lacking in confidence.

The cause of bad breath when waking up is the production of saliva decreases and this happens when you’re sleeping. This situation is different during the day in which the body produces saliva in significant amounts.

 

Although it looks trivial, but saliva or salivary function is so important. The function of these fluids is to clean up the remnants of food particles present in the mouth and collects bacteria present in the mouth. When you sleep, there will be a decrease in saliva production that makes your mouth becomes dry.

It is then made to grow the bacteria in the mouth and produce volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs). The compound is then cause odor in the mouth. In addition to the decline in the production of saliva, sleeping habits also is one of the things that affect the frequency and intensity of the odor in the mouth in the morning. As for the sleeping habits is by using mouth breathing or snoring habits.

Using mouth breathing during sleep, especially with an open mouth will make your mouth dry faster. That’s what will then make the development of bacteria cause bad breath faster.

To overcome the problem of bad breath when you wake up, you should always maintain oral health while going to sleep. The trick is to get used to brushing, tongue cleaning and flossing before bed. This will help you to maintain oral hygiene with total and cleaning food particles that are in between the teeth. This will make the bacteria growth is inhibited.

Also, make sure also that you meet the need of water and pay attention to the temperature of the bedroom. Make sure that your bedroom is not too cold so as to prevent nasal congestion and breathing through the mouth.
